Prerequisites

• ECU gateway integrated in the network
• Smartphone/ tablet with EMA Manager app
• Installation plan with stick-on inverter serial number barcodes

• Start the ECU Gateway.
• The ECU opens a WiFi access point.
• Connect your device to this WiFi access point.

If the ECU has already been connected for some time, the access point can be activated by pressing the AP button on the side of the ECU.

• Default password: 88888888

• Open the EMA Manager app.
• Select Local access.

• Check whether the WiFi connection is established (1).
• Select the Workspace menu (2).

• Select ID Management under the Inverter Configuration heading.

• Use the Add button to add all inverters to the system.

• You can add the inverters by entering their serial numbers manually or scanning the corresponding barcodes on the installation plan.

• After adding all inverters, select Sync.

• Check the connection status to the ECU under Inverter Connection Progress (section: Inverter Configuration).

It may be necessary to refresh the view several times by reloading the page (back arrow and calling up the function again). Please be patient. The connection process takes approx. 10 minutes.

If all inverters are marked with a green OK, the process has been successfully completed.

Attention: PV voltage must be present at the inverter for a successful connection.

• Set up the corresponding profile for the grid settings under the menu item Grid Profile (section: Inverter Configuration) (for Germany: Europe > Germany > VDE-AR-N 4105:2018-11).

• Check that the country settings have been applied correctly.
• Update the settings with the Update button. The inverters restart and adopt the country settings.

The process takes approx. 5 minutes. Reload the view from time to time.
